Sha’aban Commends Uba Sani for Promoting APC Unity in Kaduna

Hon. Muhammad Sani Sha’aban, Danburan Zazzau and Barden Kebbi, has commended Kaduna State Governor, Malam Uba Sani, for his efforts to strengthen unity among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Sha’aban, a prominent chieftain of the APC, expressed satisfaction with the governor’s efforts to unite party members and strengthen relationships among them.

He also thanked Governor Uba Sani for welcoming politicians who recently returned to the APC, including Bashir Sa’idu and Jafaru Sani.

According to him, the grand reception organised under the leadership of the governor for the returning politicians demonstrated the importance of unity and collective efforts towards strengthening the party in Kaduna State.

Sha’aban emphasised that unity among party leaders and members was essential for promoting peace, mutual understanding and progress within the party.

In another development, Sha’aban expressed gratitude to religious groups, traders, youth organisations, political groups, Islamic scholars, imams and traditional titleholders from different parts of the state for their concern and solidarity following an incident that affected him.

He said the messages of sympathy, love and support he received had given him additional strength and encouragement during the period.

Sha’aban prayed for Allah’s blessings upon all those who demonstrated love and concern for him, wishing them peace and success in their respective endeavours.

The Chief Executive Director of the National Institute of Public Health and Infectious Diseases (NIPHID), Saye, Zaria, Dr. Abdullahi Aminu Dalhatu, has led participants of Batch 83 Local Government Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Buruli Ulcer Supervisors (LGTBLS) Course on a courtesy visit to the Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR. The visit took place at the Emir’s Palace in Zaria on Friday evening, where the participants are currently in Zaria for a five-week training and workshop organised by NIPHID. Dr. Dalhatu was accompanied by members of the institute’s management team and other officials during the visit. Zazzau Emir’s Defamation Case: Court Bars Claimant Over Non-Compliance, Adjourns Proceedings

The Kaduna State High Court sitting in Dogarawa, Zaria, has delivered a significant ruling in the ongoing defamation suit involving the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, and a former Wazirin Zazzau, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Aminu, barring the claimant from being heard due to non-compliance with a court order. At the resumed sitting on Wednesday, the presiding judge, Justice Yakubu Badamasi, held that the claimant could not be granted the right of audience, having failed to comply with an earlier directive of the court. The court had previously imposed a fine of ₦200,000 on the claimant for lack of diligent prosecution, citing the inconvenience caused to defence counsel who travelled from Lagos, Abuja, and Kaduna. Despite the order, the claimant failed to settle the fine, prompting the court to invoke the legal principle that a party in disobedience of a subsisting court order cannot be heard until such contempt is purged.
